Meet Dr. Demorizi

Dr. Demorizi graduated from Tufts University School of Dental Medicine in 2010. Upon completion of her dental education, she continued her training in dentistry by becoming a General Practice Resident at Montefiore Medical Center. She has been practicing for 8 years and had the opportunity to treat both pediatric and adult patients in all aspects of general dentistry. It was in treating pediatric patients that she became passionate about instilling in them the importance of good oral hygiene. She believes that a child’s early dental experience will guide their oral hygiene practices, willingness to seek regular checkups, and to pursue the necessary treatment as an adult. This is what drove her to enroll in the Pediatric Dental Residency at Tufts. Through the Pediatric Dental Residency, she continued to hone her techniques in treating pediatric patients in accordance with the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry. The Pediatric Dental Residency has also helped her gain experience in applying various behavioral management techniques, sedation, and operating room experience. Outside of dentistry she enjoys cooking, outdoors, and photography. Dr. Demorizi and her husband welcome their first baby December 2020.
